Grosjean had struggled at a number of races, causing crashes and being banned from one race after causing the first lap crash at the Belgium Grand Prix.

2012 was Grosjean’s return to F1 after he made his debut for Renualt in 2009 half way through the season. He then went on to win both the GP2 and GP2 Asia titles in 2011 before being given another F1 chance.

The 2013 F1 grid is beginning to take shape with only Force India, Caterham and Marussia yet to confirm their complete line-ups.
