Romain Grosjean will continue to race for Lotus in 2013 it was confirmed on Monday.
Grosjean will join Kimi Raikkonen who the team announced would be continuing for 2013 earlier in the year.
The frenchman, who yesterday won the Race of Champions individual event, finished the season eighth in the drivers standings after scoring 96 points.
Grosjean had struggled at a number of races, causing crashes and being banned from one race after causing the first lap crash at the Belgium Grand Prix.
2012 was Grosjean’s return to F1 after he made his debut for Renualt in 2009 half way through the season. He then went on to win both the GP2 and GP2 Asia titles in 2011 before being given another F1 chance.
The 2013 F1 grid is beginning to take shape with only Force India, Caterham and Marussia yet to confirm their complete line-ups.
