Toro Rosso revealed their 2013 car the STR8 with a launch at the Jerez circuit on Monday afternoon.
The car is the first to be overseen by technical director James Key and has adopted a McLaren style exhaust.
Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo helped unveil the new car to the media in the pit lane of the Jerez circuit.
The new STR8 no longer has a stepped nose with the team choosing to use the modesty panel approved by the FIA.
According to team principal Franz Tost the team is aiming for sixth in the constructors championship. Although the Italian based outfit has previously achieved sixth position in the constructors in 2008 with what is expected to be a tight midfield this may be slightly out of reach in 2013.
Toro Rosso finished 2012 ninth in the constructors championship scoring just 26 points.
