Caterham unveiled their 2013 challenger the CT03 at Jerez in the hours before testing began.
Their have been significant changes to the CT03 according to the team’s technical director Mark Smith. The car features a lower chassis and sidepods which have been reduced in size.
Smith also said that there had been major changes to the diffuser, engine cover and cooling units. The current package will be will be taken to the first race in Australia and the team will later bring new front and rear wings and new diffuser.
The new Caterham also features the stepped nose with the team deciding not to use the modesty panel that is allowed by the FIA.
Caterham enters into its fourth F1 season and will begin 2013 with an all new line-up with Charles Pic and Giedo van der Garde.
